Yesterday I picked up a great lil lunchbox from the supermarket AND it was on special! Bonus!!
It has a little freezable gel box attached to the lid so the food is kept cool for lunchtime!! Plus a compartment for it’s own knife and fork, but the best bit about this lunchbox is it has exactly what I have been looking for!!

Today’s lunch I decided to make the american style Lunchables – these are very popular lunches and I find them fabulous for on the go lunching, snack times and most of all, days when the lil squirts need cheering up!
Today we have Carrot Sticks with Peanut Butter Dip (in a medicine cup), Cheese and Polony (cut out with a flower cookie cutter), Salami (held with a house food pick), raisins and one marshmallow.
This morning the lil squirts had a snackbox aswell consisting of Nutragrain, Raisins, Marshmallow, IKEA biscuits and an apple.

I LOVE making Bento Lunches….I will have to share some of mine with you! I think I have a lunchbox fetish…love buying cute bento boxes or cute containers!

That is a great lunch box – I've been looking for something like that too. Girls and hubby will be having sandwiches and fruit. Ill be having ice cream! (wisdom teeth came out yesterday!)
Oh you put me to shame! I do the same thing each day. I'm on such autopilot that i wrote out a lunch order for my poppet and then still made her vegemite roll for lunch. I love those little edible flowers, beautiful, as are the pics of your kids, so sweet.
The squirts are just so damn cute! How do you get anything done with those cuties to play with?!?!

I think I might need to give this sort of thing a go with Ava. She is being quite fussy of late, but this would appeal to her.

Since I discovered this way of doing lunch/snacks/dinner, it made my life so much easier! Elka picks and chooses what she likes. Some days it's carbs, other days just fruit. I just give her the options and let her decide. No stress.
Fantastic. I have seen similar containers with the lids from office works.. of all places. I love this idea of compartments though. Great for picnics too! xx
