Christmas is just around the corner, school holidays are about to start, inspiration to get into that Christmas Spirit really is everywhere you look!

The question I had was what could I create into Christmas Lunches with Tip Top® The One bread.

The challenge was set.

For our first lunch, I decided that a platter board to be used for a playdate would be a great way to incorporate sharing and also make it fun for children.

On the menu:
Peanut Butter Snowman and Christmas Tree Sandwiches.
Shooting Star Cheese.
Candy Cane Pretzels.
Star and Christmas Tree Carrots.

For our second lunch, it was Santa Claus inspired.

On the menu:
Jam Sandwich (cut into an upside down heart shape with cream cheese beard, jam and cream cheese hat, chocolate button eyes and a red smartie nose).
Santa Belly Apple (cut in half, with a nori seaweed belt, cheese buckle).
Santa Belly Baby Bel Cheese (with nori seaweed belt and a cheese buckle).
Custard (with Christmas sprinkles).

For our third lunch, I combined Santa Clause and the Snowman, with reindeer snacks!

On the menu:
Peanut Butter Santa and Snowman Sandwiches (Cut into rounds, with added cheese, jam and chocolate button eyes for Santa. Chocolate button eyes,  carrot nose and a food pen for Snowman’s mouth).
Marshmellow Snowman (with carrot nose, pretzel arms and a food pen for eyes and mouth), over a bed of Wholegrain O’s.
Carrot and Red Peppers (for reindeer snacks).

I have been using Tip Top® The One bread for the last week and it was fresh, soft and perfect for the sandwiches I make for my children. It keeps well on the kitchen counter aswell as in the freezer. It is high in fibre, has added Vitamins and Minerals and a lower GI. It really does offer a unique combination of nutritional needs, that other breads can’t offer. I was impressed that it’s made from natural ingredients and it contains no artificial preservatives. These were things I never thought about when picking a loaf of bread off the shelf at the supermarket.

These are amazing. Ok, I’m becoming quickly interested. I was worried that it was a work load with so many kids but I’m thinking this could be some weekend fun for the kids to make their own. Where do I find those amazing cutters?
