We’ve just started watching Christmas movies in our house.. actually one. The husband is a bit of a bahumbug when it comes to Christmas and Christmas movies, so we have Arthur Christmas.. and that is the only Christmas movie we have in our house.. at the moment (hoping Santa will sneak some into their stockings!)
Last week Jayne from Writing Without Pay, shared a picture on her and tagged me in it, saying wouldn’t this be a great lunch idea.. and it was!
It got me thinking.. Christmas.. Christmas Bentos.. Christmas Ideas.. Christmas Cooking with the Children.. Reindeer.. that was the lunch idea.. and all it was all I could think about! More importantly Rudolph!
I think this particular Reindeer is the only reindeer song I know.. and I won’t mention it… because I know it will get stuck in your head.. like it is currently stuck in mine!!

So with the song wizzing around my head I decided to make some Reindeer Cakepops.. and I added a dash of Maple Syrup to spice up the Christmas feeling, because these are kid friendly cakepops..

Peanut Butter Reindeer Sandwiches (Heart Shaped Sandwich, Pretzel Antlers, Candy Eyes, Smartie Nose), Cheese (Christmas Tree Cutter), Carrots (for the Reindeers to snack on), Rice Crackers, Sweetcorn and Maple Syrup Rudolf the Reindeer Cakepop.

Love everything Christmas usually, but I burnt myself out with Halloween. I have to start winding up again. It should be easy as the days get closer & excitement is all around!

They are just too cute! You are such a clever clogs. I can’t wait to start getting all Christmasy here. As a child we had to wait till after my brother’s birthday before we could put the tree up, it is in the first week of December. He works away a lot now and doesn’t visit me all that often so my tree will be going up this weekend. Can. Not. Wait!

We had to wait until the 14th December after my sisters and Dad’s birthday before the real christmas tree got dragged inside from the patio!
(it was a proper oldschool christmas tree in a pot! Lasted years and years!)
We get a tree each year from a place in Waneroo – but it doesn’t open til the first, so I have to wait til then – the travesty!!!! This will be our last real tree for a few years while we are up north – unless I can convince Mum she needs one for when we come down here

I’m neither here nor there about Christmas movies but I am super keep to decorate! Only problem is, decorations are in the roof and I DO NOT get in the roof so I have to wait for hubby to get them down. We’ve decided this Saturday is the day!
I want to buy a CD of Christmas carols and get my kids singing. I don’t really know too many songs and don’t have any CDs but I think it’s a tradition the HTandT family should start pronto

Love it! I braved the shopping centre with two crabby kids yesterday to buy a new tree. I’m glad I did, the look on their faces once it was up was priceless. I love Christmas, & I’m really excited to be spending it at home this year.

I haven’t started any christmas stuff yet as I like to wait to Dec 1 otherwise I think I would be in danger of peaking too early. I do have a whole host of games and activities planned though.xx
