Stuck inside the house today as it is FREEEZING in Perth today and we can not leave the house due to our Driveway has finally been concreted.. (only ways in and out have both been concreted). Stuck inside for 24hrs (not too bad really).. luckily I had been to the shops yesterday and picked up extra milk!!

Today’s lunch I decided to use these 3D cookie cutters I picked up the other day! I didn’t know how they would work with sandwiches but they turned out pretty cool! I think you could use these for meat, cheese, sandwiches and definitely cookies!

MissC’s lunch today was a Peanut Butter Sandwich, Cheese, Pasta and Carrots with mayo dip.
We made the carrots so it was like a cage and the pasta was ‘food’ for the animals.

MasterS got the leftover sandwich edges, cheese and pasta.

What did your lil ones have for lunch today?

A sausage in bread. Man oh man, you are putting me to shame.

Simple is always the best! Can't go wrong with sausage and bread!

My mum gave my daughter Sausage in bread yesterday while I was out and apparently she LOVED it so will try that tomorrow :)

My school kids took pizza scrolls… home made too. Well ok one did, the other one took 4 plain rice cakes, because she 'hates every other lunch food on the face of this earth'… apparently.

    Love those animal shapes… cool!

Perfect! I used to adore doing all this for my little girl. Now she's at school I can't guarantee it won't all get chucked around in her school bag…… But you've inspired me to dig out her Hello Kitty face sandwich cutter and make them for her again. It really isn't that much more effort to cut out shapes, despite what friends used to tell me (that I was “fussing” with her food….)! Good on you :)

Those cookie cutters look so cool! You've inspired me to get some! Our meals are usually quite boring around here. So I need to start to spruce things up a little ;)
