Today I am showing MissC’s snack box and lunch we had yesterday.
MissC snacked on her snack box throughout the morning.
I find this stops her asking for food every 10 minutes. She know’s once its gone thats it until Lunchtime!
In the afternoon she has an apple and fresh popped popcorn.
Snackbox: Carrots, Celery, Prezels, Organic Puffs, Raisins and 2 Tic Toc Biscuits.
Lunch: Sausage (skin taken off) in a Blanket, Pasta and Carrots
(The carrot is the other half of the one she had this morning).
I had to make one for my own lunch! Brought back childhood family bbq memories!!
I think the last time I had a sausage in bread with butter and tomato sauce I was probably about 12!
And it was as delicious as I remembered!!!
When was the last time you indulged in a Sausage in a Blanket!?
That's a great idea! On the days that my son is home from school, he asks for non stop food as well! I get so sick of hearing “Mum, I'm hungry, can you please get me something to eat!” ALL the time! I feel like I do nothing else some days!
I think this idea would work for him. Now, just what to put in it!
Thanks for the tip Yvette!
I put 2 things that I know MissC loves eating (biscuits and pretzels) and then the rest are healthy options that I know she will eat because she is hungry.
Nice! And as for the sausage… too many years ago to remember! Oops!
xx
Oh, these are so cute! Such a fun way to make sure she eats all her food
Does a Bunnings sausage count?
I like your snackbox idea, I might start that as I get harassed all day for food!
Yes, I've had a fete pig in a blanket. Love 'em. I also love the lunch you've provided Miss C. It's enough to give her variety and choices and most of it's healty. Perfect. I think I'm going to get more organised have anacks ans lunch planned like you have.
Such a good Idea
would save so much time with my constantly hungry kids! I love sausage sizzles, we have them regularly in the summer
Following you back
