I hope everyone had a safe and healthy and happy Christmas!! My little man left me with minimal sleep and a few power spews at 3am (for 3 nights running!) and my darling husband has “man flu” symptoms!
Although we had a lovely Turducken on Christmas Eve – (Turducken is a dish consisting of a de-boned chicken stuffed into a de-boned duck, which is in turn stuffed into a de-boned turkey) it had too much stuffing and definitely not enough meat (and fell apart when you sliced it!) My mother in law jumped on the Turducken bandwagon as the ‘in thing’ for Christmas.
Christmas Day was hot (39.6 in Perth!) and we spent it in the swimming pool at my parents. Turkey, Ham, Lamb, Prawns and Salmon was on the menu…
Boxing Day.. Chinese Takeaway and Dr Who. I had Stirfry BBQ Pork…
Which meant that the last three days I had 8 different styles of meat. I am definitely stuffed!
On the menu for lunch:
Peanut Butter Bunny Sandwiches, Bunny Cheese, BBQ Chicken, Celery, Philly Cheese dip, Grape Tomatoes and a Rocky Road Crunch (recipe soon!)
MissC was more interested in the bunny sandwiches than the tomatoes.
What fruit or vegetables are you trying to get your children to eat, but continue to refuse?
