After yesterday’s post introducing my .. and with Drew on a late flight home lastnight, the lil squirts were in bed early. I decided to look in the cupboard and make myself a Bento Style Nibbles box and serve it in my bento box.
In my bento box:
Shrimp Cocktail Crackers and Wasabi Peas, Twiggies and Chilli and Garlic Olives, Chocolate Roll (sliced to look like sushi rolls), Watermelon balls and banana, Sugar Snap Peas and blanched Asparagus with French Onion Dip. Served with Food Picks.
I settled in on the couch and watched my favourite Nicholas Cage movie while snacking on my bento box. I think this is the best way to relax on a Tuesday night!

Rich and I have “girl/boy” food nights – usually a Friday or Saturday when I want to catch up on girly films or when I want to experiment with food (and wine)…my preferred food for nights like these is finger food so little bits of everything (chicken nuggets for Rich!) so LOVE your bento box! And when I say I love your bento box, I mean I love the idea but I love the actual box! I SO need to get one for myself as food is always better when served in sections!
