This morning we are taking a little picnic to the park to meet up with some friends for a playdate.

On the menu:
Peanut Butter and Plain Butter Sandwich (request from MissC who wanted Tiger Bread from yesterday’s lunch at the Grandparents)
Carrots and Celery
Rissole and Cheese
Homemade Philadelphia Cheese and Corn Relish dip in a silicone flower

What lunch do you take to the park?

P.S: do you like my new look?

Happy Valentines Day from the Little Bento Blog family!! We hope your day is full of love and laughter!!

Unfortunately both my lil ones have a chesty cough and sore throat.. but that doesn’t stop us from having a yummy lunch!! Soft foods to help get them to eat something is always the key with a sore throat (and lots of water!)

On the menu:
Heart shaped Jam Sandwich
Heart shaped Cheese
Heart shaped Watermelon
Raisins

And for dessert I am introducing them to the original cartoon movie Alice and Wonderland – and the Queen of Hearts (my favourite character!) with a pot of yoghurt.

Linking today’s special Valentines Lunch with Heart Mama!

My two little ones have been quite miserable this week – MissC had a low temperature over the past few days that finally has gone away and MasterS has seems to be teething those big molars again. Both of them have been off their food. So I decided that we needed a fun, but easy chewing lunch.

On the menu:
Pasta Salad with Cheese and Ham (mini cookie cutters were used)
Pacman shaped Pikelet with icing eyes and food doodler pen for a smile
Garlic Bread (because thats what I had for my lunch with leftover spaghetti bolognaise)

What do you serve your little ones when they have been ill?
