So on Saturday night I went to my friend’s wedding.. I have known him since I was 16 years old (15 years) and his wife for 4 years.
I was in highschool reunion mode! The guys that went were all my friends from highschool – so it was a fabulous catchup! And a beautiful wedding!!

I was so nervous about what to wear.. so I decided to stepped out of my comfort zone and colour blocked!! Purple Dress, Black retro stockings and a green clutch not to mention my black Mary Jane heels.. )which use to see me for the last train of the night in London!!)

And I rocked it!! (if I don’t say so myself!)

These are the boys I went to Highschool with.

and lived in my house in the UK for 2 years.

He’s crazy!!
No idea what Drew is doing.. he wasn’t hurt..

I am a dancing diva!!
Showing everyone how to do the box dance!
This was the last dance of the night…

MIDNIGHT
I don’t look that bad for midnight…
do I??

Do you like to dance like crazy at weddings? Pulling out all the moves? Can you last the night like you were a teenager again? Or are the hangovers 100x as bad with children now!

Ingredients:

1 cup Sushi Rice
1.5 cup Water
Water to wash the Sushi Rice x3

Instructions:
Add Sushi Rice to rice cooker
Wash in running water three times
Place 1.5 cup of water in rice cooker
Turn rice cooker on to cook
Once cooked – remove rice and place in plastic container
When cool enough to handle (but still hot), use gladwrap (cling film) to hold rice
Place a little amount of rice on gladwrap and roll into a ball
Place ball of rice on plate and repeat.

Rice is naturally sticky so this is the easiest way to handle the rice – if you don’t have gladwrap ensure your hands are wet to handle the rice.

** I keep my sushi balls in the fridge for up to two days in a sealed container. Can be eaten cold in lunches.

*** Make bigger Sushi Rice balls and put filling in the middle (Tuna/Mayo, Chicken, Cheese, leftover bolognaise etc)

**** If you want to make coloured rice, a few drops of food dye in the water is fine – or you can use spinach leaves for green rice – to make a caterpillar.
I made this one last week.

Slightly bigger lunch than usual as I am trying to encourage MissC to eat new foods and expand her dinner palate. So she knows between lunch and dinner she will only get a piece fruit (which at the moment is only apples as she refuses to try anything else).

Today we have in a laptop lunchbox:
Peanut butter sandwich, cut out with butterfly and hearts cutters.
Chicken nuggets and lil chippes which are butterflies and hearts with mayo dipdip.
Yoghurt with sprinkles (sparkly yoyo as MissC calls it).

What do you do if your children refuses to eat?
